Spring Break Opportunities

Spring Break is a valuable time to continue growing in love for God, God's mission, and God's people. Check out two exciting opportunities to maximize your Spring Break with our chapter!

Soul Surf is a week at Panama City Beach, Florida where students grow in spiritual conversations and dependence on God in prayer. Attendees learn to love well and show hospitality, grow closer to God as they take risks in order to help others know Him, and grow in their boldness and spiritual conversation skills... all while having fun on the beach. Throughout the week, you can expect to serve those among you through hosting parties, giving out free food, and sharing about Jesus.

"Soul surf was a very humbling experience. At the end of the week my heart for mission was transformed; I was humbled and completely in awe when God used someone as broken as me to guide someone into recommitting their life to following Christ!"

-Angie Mapura, junior
Through Chicago Urban Project (CUP), students are developed into Kingdom leaders and world changers through living and learning in the the Chicago neighborhood, Austin. They do so by living and learning from community; training in multi-ethnicity, compassion, and justice; and integrating what they learn into campus. Students leave Spring Break CUP with a deeper understanding of God’s love for all people, compelling them to missionally engage the campus, their community and the world.

"At CUP, I learned that diversity is a part of God's beautiful plan. I now take pride in the fact that I'm 100% American and also 100% Chinese - and ultimately God's precious daughter. As his daughter, I have an irreplaceable voice in advocating for the 'outcasts' of our society."
