Online Resources During COVID-19
We're in unprecedented times during COVID-19. The way we connect with one another is different, the sins that seek to control us look different, and the best practices to pursue God look a little different. Join with us as we continue to live as the people of God during COVID-19.

World Vision Fundraiser
Did you know that IllinoisIV supports three children from Malawi through the organization World Vision? Just because we're locked down, that doesn't mean that our kids' needs are any less. So here's how you can help!
We're launching our "What's on my head?" viral video challenge to raise awareness and raise money for our kids! Watch our video for more details. You can post your videos and see others on the IV Memes Facebook page at tiny.cc/ivmemes. You can find all of the written instructions on how to participate here. In addition to the video challenge and donations, you can also be caring for Chisomo, Maliseni, and Jonas through prayer! For profiles on our kids and information on how to be praying for them, click here! |

Gotta watch out for those Zoombombers, so talk to your small group leader to get the link and password to the room. PARTICIPANT'S GUIDE: You can grab each week's guide here! |
Lordship + Accountability
With most of us sheltering-in-place away from community and accountability, many patterns of sin look grab a foothold and control our lives. This is especially true for sexual sin. That's why it's more important than ever for us to be intentional about protecting ourselves and those around us from the corruption of sin. So we have three tools to help you!
1. Watch This Video! Zac created 4 really practical tips for us during shelter-in-place to combat temptation. It's worth the watch! 2. Use the Accountability Handout! This handout will help you and your accountability partner have intentional, meaningful accountability with one another as you work together to live into your 1 Peter identity as a chosen people, a royal priesthood. 3. Attend the Online Accountability Seminar! On Saturday, April 25th at 1:30pm CST, Zac will be leading a seminar on the "How's" and "Why's" of accountability. We'll even get to hear from some students about how they structure their accountabilities! The meeting will be hosted here! |

How to Have Deeper Conversations
We know that having deep conversations isn't always easy. We ALSO know that while Zoom is useful and better than nothing when it comes to social interaction, it's probably even tougher to have a deep conversation over Zoom. What happens if you need to have a difficult conversation with a friend? A meaningful accountability session? Needing to mourn?
Real, deep conversations are tough, and COVID-19 has only made it tougher, but it's important now more than ever for us to continue to pursue meaningful relationships with one another. God designed us for community, and we get to experience that in its fullness when we are real with one another. So your staff are creating a guide to help! You can find the Deeper Conversations guide here. |
