Urbana 25 Information
for InterVarsity students at the University of Illinois
If you are a part of the Undergrad Chapter of InterVarsity at the University of Illinois, this page is for you! Your staff want to make it as easy as possible for you to go to Urbana, and we know that there's a lot of variables. So while the Urbana.org website is super cool, some of the information on that website may not be accurate for you as an IllinoisIV student.
If at any point in the process you have a question, come to this page first! We'll see you in Phoenix 🌵

How do I get there?
You are responsible for booking your own plane tickets or making plans to drive to Phoenix.
But we think it would be a lot more fun if you flew with your friends. Ask your friend what flights they're taking. To help you get started, here's a couple of flights your staff found from Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Phoenix (PHX): AA Flight ####: Leaves ORD at: Arrives PHX at: United Flight ####: Leaves ORD at: Arrives PHX at: Southwest Flight ####: Leaves ORD at: Arrives PHX at: If you need help finding a flight or booking a plane ticket, reach out to your staff worker! |
How much will it cost? $235 (Conference cost)
+$180 (Hotel estimate) +$xxx (Plane estimate) Total: ~$700 (estimate) ___________________________ Normally, when you attend an IllinoisIV retreat, you pay one thing: the cost of the retreat. That covers the retreat itself, housing, and food. Urbana is a little different! The cost of Urbana does not include travel or housing! The cost of the conference is set in stone, but travel and housing are estimates. |
Where will I stay? Our region has booked a block of hotel rooms at a discounted rate at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Phoenix! It's less than a 1/2 mile walk in the warm Arizona air from our hotel to the conference center.
You'll be in a room with 3 of your friends! We will send out a form in the Fall for you to request your roommates. You can choose to stay elsewhere if you'd like, but you're entirely responsible for figuring that out on your own if you choose to not stay in our hotel block. |
